3 Months old

Wow, I can't believe how long it has been since I have updated our blog. There hasn't been anything really exciting to write about. Shane is getting bigger everyday...he is about 16 pounds and 25.5 inches long. I still can't get over that three months have gone by since he was born...I really wish time would slow down. I have to go back to work in 2 months...I am really dreading leaving Shane, it is going to be so hard. I try not to think about it too much because it just makes me sad and anxious. I am just taking it day by day and enjoying every minute that I get to spend with him.
Davin is still working on the big job hunt. We are hoping that we are able to stay in Foster City and not have to relocate or move out of state. We are just going to have to wait and see how things play out. Davin has been running every day (sometimes twice a day). He just celebrated his 26th birthday last Saturday...we didn't do anything exciting because Davin has been on a night schedule. I made him a birthday apple pie and enchiladas....what a combination!
Let's see, Shane has a lot of new tricks! He has been able to support his head very well for the last few weeks. We bought him a jumparoo which he absolutely loves and gets so excited when he's jumping around and playing with all of toys on it...he is such a joy to watch. It was a great investment, because now I can do chores while he is in it because he is very entertained by it. He has also discovered that his hands taste very yummy and he tries to stick them both in his mouth at the same time! Shane is also drooling like no other...very messy! This last week he learned how to blow bubbles with his spit! He is just so cute. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful son.
I only have a few pictures of him, because our camera battery charger is at Davin's parents house. Hopefully, we will be heading up there in the next few weeks to get it, because I am missing out on some really great pictures. I did go and buy a disposable camera to use until then...let me tell you that it is just strange to take a picture and not be able to see instantaneously.
We hope everyone is doing well.
